Mission Projects
Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child has been an ongoing mission project at Calvary UCC for
the last 15 years. Each month we collect
different items to
put in the shoeboxes. In November we
gather to pack and dedicate the boxes. For more information on what to put in a box

Relay For Life

Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement. Calvary UCC is part of a team with Wilmot United Methodist Church that participates in Relay For Life.

Five for Five!
Calvary UCC participates in both basic support of the UCC and all four special offerings. The special offerings are as follows:

Neighbors in Need (NIN) is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. One-third of NIN funds support the Council for American Indian Ministry. Two-thirds of the offering is used by the UCC's Justice and Witness Ministries to support a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects through grants.

One Great Hour of Sharing, the refugee, relief and development offering of the United Church of Christ, transforms lives through health, education, agricultural, and emergency relief initiatives in 138 countries

Each day, visions and dreams are created in the hearts of many in the United Church of Christ. Through the Strengthen the Church offering, these visions and dreams can become a reality.

The Christmas Fund helps to care for clergy both retired and those that have served the UCC for many years. Many of them do not have enough money to adequately fund their retirements. This offering helps to make sure these pastors can retire comfortably.
